Anja Abstract Chakra Art
“Ajna is symbolised by a lotus with two petals, and corresponds to the colours violet, indigo or deep blue, though it is traditionally described as white. It is at this point that the two side nadis Ida (yoga) and Pingala are said to terminate and merge with the central channel Sushumna, signifying the end of duality, the characteristic of being dual (e.g. light and dark, or male and female). The seed syllable for this chakra is the syllable OM, and the presiding deity is Ardhanarishvara, who is a half male, half female Shiva/Shakti. The Shakti goddess of Ajna is called Hakini.
Ajna (along with Bindu), is known as the third eye chakra and is linked to the pineal gland which may inform a model of its envisioning. The pineal gland is a light sensitive gland that produces the hormone melatonin which regulates sleep and…

Flower Of Life Abstract Chakra Art
“The Flower of Life is the name New Age movement author Drunvalo Melchizedek gives to a geometrical figure composed of multiple evenly-spaced, overlapping circles. This figure forms a flower-like pattern with the symmetrical structure of a hexagon.
A “Flower of Life” figure consists of seven or more overlapping circles,[1] in which the center of each circle is on the circumference of up to six surrounding circles of the same diameter. However, the surrounding circles need not be clearly or completely drawn; in fact, some ancient symbols that are claimed as examples of the Flower of Life contain only a single circle or hexagon.
Drunvalo Melchizedek has called these figures symbols of sacred geometry, asserting that they represent ancient spiritual beliefs, and that they depict fundamental aspects of space and time.[2][3] Melchizedek claims that Metatron’s Cube may be derived from the Flower…

Aspen Trees in Autumn Color Portrait View
Aspen Trees in Autumn Color Portrait View
Autumn season has to be the best season of the year with mother nature showing off her bright colors. Here is a portrait view of autumn aspen trees trunks with the bright colors behind. Aspen trees grow singly and in multi-stemmed clones over the widest distribution of any native tree species in North America. All of the aspens typically grow in large colonies, derived from a single seedling, and spread by means of root suckers. Each individual tree can live for 40-150 years above ground, but the root system of the colony is long-lived.
In some cases, this is for thousands of years, sending up new trunks as the older trunks die off above ground. For this reason, it is considered to be an indicator of ancient woodlands. One such colony in Utah, given the nickname of “Pando”, is estimated to be 80,000 years old, making it possibly the oldest…

Feeling Creative Abstract Chakra Art
“Swadhisthana, Svadisthana, or adhishthana is symbolised by a white lotus within which is a crescent moon, with six vermilion, or orange petals. The seed mantra is Vam, and the presiding deity is Brahma, with the Shakti being Rakini (or Chakini). The animal associated is the crocodile of Varuna.
This Chakra is located in the sacrum and is considered to correspond to the testes or the ovaries that produce the various sex hormones involved in the reproductive cycle. Swadisthana is also considered to be related to, more generally, the genitourinary system and the adrenals. The key issues involving Swadisthana are relationships, violence, addictions, basic emotional needs, and pleasure. Physically, Swadisthana governs reproduction, mentally it governs creativity, emotionally it governs joy, and spiritually it governs enthusiasm.[42]
Corresponding deity for material element of this chakra is Indra (head of Vasus) or Varuna. The seed syllable…

Puffins are funny looking creatures. But from an artistic standpoint they are very striking and beautiful to work with. I cannot stop thinking about the tasty cereal I fed my daughter when she was a little girl. Do they still make “Puffins” cereal?
